Very responsive. I had a question about their premium subscription and I received a personalized response from the founder itself. I am not sure if it was really the founder but I don't have a reason to not believe because it worked for me. I found a great room at an older lady's home. She is very kind and never interferes in my personal space and I have unrestricted access to kitchen and living room too. If I have to move out from this awesome home (hopefully not) I would definitely try Cirtru again. Cons - Android App not available on the Play Store.

A friend added me to their Facebook group after which I tried their website and found an awesome roommate. She told me that they also had some kind of background check service, but I couldn't find it. Anyways my current roommate is awesome, and if the need be, I would sure try your service again. 😃

A colleague recommended me to Cirtru few months ago and I have been using since then. I have received lesser enquiries as compared to what I used to get on Craigslist, but none of the Cirtru enquiries seemed fake and given that I found a roommate twice, I would strongly recommend it. I couldn't find their iphone app on the App store. Not sure if they have an app.

I have found great roommates who were liked minded and have become friends for life. Never going back to Craigslist. One feature that I want urgently is the ability to collect rent online. Hope someone at Cirtru will read this. 🤓

Lesser responses as compared to Craigslist but I got ZERO spam on Cirtru and found a great roommate for my apartment in 3 days. You just can't trust people on Craigslist anymore. 3 out of 5 responses on Craigslist involved funds transfer with no verbal communication.

Yes, I would recommend Citru. Easy to use and I felt safe while finding a room, given that I could chat with landlords without revealing my contact details.

Ok, so I found a room in Bay Area within a week during shelter in place order, and that was really helpful. If they add like some sort of background check for everyone, I would have rated them 5 star.

When I was searching for my next home, someone on Facebook group recommended Cirtru to me. I contacted quite a few listings and finalized one of them. This place is so close to my work place. :). I have recommended Cirtru to all the new hires in my startup. Cirtru should probably consider paying me a referral bonus ;)

The best thing I liked about Cirtru was that they responded to my queries in a timely fashion. I did not end up finding a roommate but have a good experience overall. I will definitely try again. Cirtru Team - Seems like your app logs me out every time I close it. Hopefully you fix this by the time I use it again.

It is not a paid site, which is great. I listed my room for free and got responses on Cirtru itself. They do have premium plans though, if you want higher visibility, but in my case I was not in a rush. I had 2 months time frame before my current tenant's end of lease.

I opted for their default premium plan, and got a roommate within ONE week. I did get quite a few responses. And met a couple of prospective roommates. I guess paying was worth it since I only had a month to fill the vacancy. There are a few things that they can fix in their app but website worked great for me.

Awesome, because it worked without any scams. I found my roommate in less than a week and both of us get along well. I am certainly going to use it again for my future needs. Tip: Cirtru provides many fields to showcase your needs and requirements, so make sure you fill those out and you would get exact matches. I was lazy not to fill all the details and so for the first few days I got a lot of responses and after I filled everything the matches became more relevant.
