Welcome to our little piece of Durango! Our cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bath cottage sits on 5 peaceful acres, giving you plenty of room to breathe, relax, and temporarily forget what day of the week it is. 😉

The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a cozy living area, well-equipped kitchenette, comfortable bedroom, full bathroom, and a solar-lighted patio with an outdoor charcoal grill. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee, an afternoon nap, or an evening beverage while discussing how you’re definitely going to get up early for tomorrow’s adventure. (No judgment if you don’t.)

Step outside and enjoy the peace and quiet of our little slice of the country. Take a stroll around the property, watch the wildlife, enjoy the fresh mountain air, or simply sit back and do absolutely nothing—which, by the way, is an underrated vacation activity.

The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for evening walks. And when the sun goes down, look up! The stars around here put on quite a show. ✨ No tickets, no crowds, and no need to fight for a good seat.

Downtown Durango is just a hop, skip, and a jump away. We should probably clarify that the “jump” is best accomplished by car, but you get the idea. You’re close enough to enjoy the restaurants, shops, breweries, trails, and adventures, but far enough away to come home to some good old-fashioned peace and quiet.

And then there’s our four-legged management team. Millie, our rescue pup and official Ambassador of Joy, may be around to welcome you. Pepper, our senior Shih Tzu, specializes in quality control from the nearest comfortable spot. The cats? Well… they have reviewed your reservation and will get back to you. 😹

We created this cottage to be more than just a place to sleep. We want it to feel comfortable, welcoming, and a little bit like your home away from home—only with better mountain views and fewer things on your honey-do list.
