Not just one room but the whole, fully furnished, upstairs of old Portland bungalow.  There are two light-filled rooms, each with access to a bathroom with a shower and skylight . One room has a full size bed, dresser and desk. The second room currently has a futon on the floor, a dresser and a desk.  Rent for entire private upstairs is $850/month, including utilities .
The downstairs kitchen is shared, and there is a washer & dryer in the basement.
I am looking for someone who is friendly, responsible, and who likes to cook and share food. Not a vegetarian.  Progressive Community is the intention. The house is quiet and clean, and in a great location: one block south of N.E. Alberta Street with a co-op grocery store, bike shop, food carts, plus many restaurants and entertainment venues.  Parking on the street is free and always available.  Close to public transportation also.
I am a retired librarian and hosted international students for many years.
Additionally, I am an “old-school” lesbian-feminist with one sweet cat.  No dogs are allowed.
