Hi all! We're looking for 1 roommate to join our unfurnished 4 bed / 2 bath home in North Portland (Arbor Lodge) starting September 5.

About You
We're looking for someone in their mid-20s to 30s who is:
LGBTQ+ and BIPOC friendly
Comfortable living with animals
Clean, respectful, and friendly
We'd prefer women, femmes, or non-binary folks. We already have two cats and one dog, so we're not looking to add any more pets.

Rent
$1,000/month + utilities
Utilities are split between the four housemates and the two residents in the ADU.

The House
Our home is a 2,500 sq. ft. house with 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, though we're only filling four bedrooms so we can keep one as a shared office/craft room.

Dining room
Large kitchen with a gas range and two ovens
Detached garage
Large backyard

The house is technically available September 1, but the upstairs hardwood floors are being refinished after the carpets are removed. We'll be moving our stuff in during that time, but the work should be finished by September 5–6, when the rooms will be ready.

The ADU
The basement ADU is home to a PhD candidate and a general contractor, plus their friendly, quiet German Shepherd. We share the backyard and laundry, and split utilities, but otherwise have separate living spaces and storage.

About Us
Harriet (she/her) – I'm 26, originally from Colorado, and have two cats, Rhiannon and Jolene. I'm starting school this fall to work toward vet school and love playing ice hockey, backpacking, skiing, and watching women's sports.
Kailin (she/her) – Kailin is 33, works at an emergency veterinary hospital, and is mom to our sweet, awkward dog, Charlie. She loves hiking, camping, crafting, and is currently reading ACOTAR for the first time.

House Vibe
We like to keep shared spaces clean and tidy and aim for a friendly, low-key household where people can chat and hang out but also have their own space.
