Shootin’ this message out into the universe as I search for a great roommate to fill my 2nd bedroom with private bath !

Hi there! Taylor here, (37/F) looking for a laid back, kind and respectful male or female roommate to join me in my cute lil 2bd/2bth 1600 sq ft mobile home, located in Kearny Mesa. Right near the epic food scene of Convoy, 10 minutes east of La Jolla and super quick access to the 805 and the 52 freeways.

The available bedroom is 11x11, and is currently furnished with a queen sleigh bed, 2 nightstands, dresser and huge closet. The attached bath is connected on the other wall to the laundry room/carport entrance side door (2 tandem parking spots).
Additionally, the property has a 3rd built on sunroom/office space, front + back deck, enclosed back yard with fruit trees and an exterior shed for storage.
The place has its quirks, and also has its charm. There’s a gorgeous plumeria tree in the front during spring/summer as well as a flag pole in the front yard - which we fly proudly 🇺🇸

The mobile home park has 2 pools, 2 laundry facilities and a sizeable dog run about 300 meters in length. The people living in the community here are super chill and friendly. It’s low key and has some rules mostly regarding noise - so we won’t be throwing ragers during all hours of the night.

I’m open to welcoming a cat or dog (park management has rules on breeds and size) or any size/breed if an ESA, per park rules. My only rule is your animal has to play well with others as I have a lively Corgi turning 2 in May. Must love dogs ✅

I’m open minded in the search for a roomie- whether you’re military, exchange student, young working professional, older, whatever, shorter term or longer term - I care most about having an open line of communication, being mindful of the space, lovin on my dog, and hopefully becoming a friend over time. Living together with someone is personal and I wouldn’t want to just be 2 ships passing in the night. 

About me - I’m a new home owner as of November so I’ve put a lot of time, energy and love into my spot. I regularly tinker on house projects, maintaining the backyard, and furnishing it fully as time goes on. 
I work less than a mile away and choose to be in office 5 days a week. I generally unwind after work, relaxing with my pup, perhaps having a glass of wine sitting on the back deck or putting on a show. 
I’m active and run regularly, take my pup out a lot for exercise and try to hit the beach as much as possible on the weekends. I’m a mix of extroverted but enjoy my alone time, mindful, and previously worked for 4 years abroad in Europe and Asia, so I consider myself pretty traveled and open minded to different cultures and ways of life.

I’m looking to bring on a roommate in or around May (can be flexible) for $1550 a month w utilities, Internet and some streaming services included. I’d prefer someone who works a hybrid or in office schedule, is generally tidy, is active and who naturally wants to get out and enjoy the fantastic weather and all the amazing things San Diego has to offer. Full time couch potatoes aren’t my jam.
