An enchanting cottage, surrounded by Oaks and Cedars and deer and foxes. Country setting but only 20 minutes from downtown Austin. The perfect place to unwind from a stressful day.
It has a full kitchen and all the amenities to make sure you are comfortable. There is a queen size bed upstairs in a bedroom with a glass wall.
Release all worries in a deep soaking tub with a large picture window that overlooks the central Texas Hill Country. Step out from the bathing room onto a high porch and watch the beautiful Texas sunsets.
Downstairs a cozy dining nook with a full kitchen for your delicious home-cooked or takeout meals.
On the first floor, the living room includes a foldout couch that comfortably sleeps one. A wood-burning stove warms the house on those few cold nights we have.
Off of the living room is a small bedroom with a small single bed (5 ft 4 in long)Though the bedroom has some visual privacy due to the bookcase wall, it is open to the rest of the house.
An additional screened in porch with a hanging egg basket chair is the perfect place for coffee in the morning as you watch the deer and rabbits pass by.
Note there is no standup shower, but who needs it with a tub like this!
This design is not good for small children and groups of more than four people are not allowed.
You will feel like you’re on vacation every time you come home. It was built by me for my retirement and I’m happy to share with others while I travel.
