One room is available for rent starting on Aug 1 in a pretty cool shared household. Rent is $825/month plus utilities. 

The room is for a single occupant in our beautiful home located about 1 mile from downtown Grass Valley. We are also near Memorial Park, which has a swimming pool, tennis courts, and pickleball courts. We are also close to the back entrance to Empire State Mine Park, a little-known entrance for hiking. The room is furnished with a queen bed, two nightstands, 2 lamps, and a closet. Your rent includes a once-a-month professional cleaning service for the shared household areas.

Enjoy the convenience of a washer and dryer on site, central heating and AC, and a backyard lounge area. You'll share 1 1/2 baths with 3 other tenants. The full bath has a Jacuzzi tub to enjoy. We have a garden and you would have the opportunity to grow your own vegetables. 

We are seeking long-term tenants with a minimum 6-month lease, but prefer a 1-year rental lease agreement. We currently have two cats and, unfortunately, can't accommodate any more pets. 

We have a very quiet, clean, and peaceful household. Our home consists of two men in their 30s who work outside the home, and myself. I'm a retired teacher in my 60s who works from home as a writer now.

We're seeking a like-minded roommate who is financially stable, emotionally mature, and who communicates well. References and proof of income are required to qualify. A deposit equal to one month's rent plus utilities is required upon acceptance.
