Hey all! We recently had a spot open up downstairs in the house we’re renting and looking to fill the void. Details are below: 

Location: 94 Boylston St, Brookline. 5 bedroom, 3 full bath house. 5min walk from Brookline Village. 25-30min walk from Coolidge Corner. Close walking distance to Jamaica Pond and Emerald Necklace. 5min walk to the Green Line T station Brookline Village 

Who are we?: We’re 4 working professionals all in our late 20’s-early 30’s. Three of us work from home or are hybrid. The last of us is an educator. All of us are big into video games, art/theater/photography, music (three of us play guitar), board games, movie nights, and creating a comfortable home life. Our politics lean left, so if you don’t support our loved ones in the BIPOC or LGBTQIA+ communities then we don’t think you’re going to be a good fit with us. We are also 420 friendly if it’s done outside, which there is a small outdoor area we use 

Pets: We already have three lovely animals living with us. Two are cats, Angelo and Artemis, and then the bestest boy Tombo, a golden doodle. Because this creates a full house, we’re asking that you do not bring in a pet, unless it’s something you can keep downstairs with you. Always up for a conversation if there’s a little fur friend or reptile you want to bring along!

The Space: You’ll have the downstairs space all to yourself. It’s a fully finished basement that has a kitchenette area, a living room, and a smaller bedroom area. One of us is already living down there currently but is moving upstairs. We’re going to leave it mainly furnished for you, except any bedroom furniture. Already down there will be a couch, tall armoire, coffee table, armchair, kitchen table with four chairs, fridge, air fryer, microwave, and a few other small things. We’ll keep most of the dishware/pots and pans downstairs for you to use as well, in case the kitchen is full upstairs. And that’s just downstairs! The first floor consists of one bathroom, washer/dryer, dining room, living room, and kitchen. On the second floor there are the other three bedrooms and two other bathrooms

Rent: $1,400/month. Room is available as of September 1st

Rough Bill Estimate: $200/month in the spring to fall months and $300/month in the winter. Downstairs is electric heat and upstairs is gas

Washer/dryer: Yes, there are units in the house

Parking: There is no parking on site unfortunately. Two of us rent spaces

Couples: We have no issues with a partner coming over often to hangout! But with seven bodies in the house already (we’re including the animals), we’d prefer that only one more body be added to the house please
