This is a single room for rent for a female in a large, four-bedroom family home. In addition to my adult daughter, Carmen,  living in home, a second bedroom is available for rent and may be occupied by another female tenant. Therefore, there may be four adults living in the home at any one time. Your bedroom is the first bedroom at the top of the stairs. Down the hall is your bathroom. You will be sharing the bathroom one female tenant.

The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs, including a variety of spices, oils, and complementary coffee. You will have your own designated space in the large refrigerator and cupboards.  You are welcome to use the dishwasher. We like to keep the kitchen clean, so please clean up after use. Simply leave the kitchen as clean as you find it. We will go over more detailed instructions when you move in. 

We are also very environmentally conscious in our home. To this end, please turn off lights when not in use. Additionally, I respectfully request that you are thoughtful of your water usage, not letting the faucet run unnecessarily, and being mindful of lengthy showers. 

Appliances include stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, dishwasher, garbage disposal, large refrigerator. There is an additional mini fridge  and auxiliary AC/Heater floor unit in the bedroom. There is flat screen TV in the living room. In the living room, we have the quintessential big comfy couch. It is a favorite place to gather and watch movies or our favorite streaming show. 

Through the sliding glass doors at the back of the house, you will find our beautiful, big backyard. You are welcome to use the yard for eating under the umbrella, relaxing on the swing,  or playing. Yard games (badminton, lawn bowling, and croquet) are available.

You will come and go through the front door. When you leave, please double lock the door. We also keep the front door closed and locked, when we are home. If we are downstairs, we may open the front door for the breeze, but only we are all aware that it is open.

The house is also set up with a Ring Doorbell. I will be able to see you coming and going from the house, and any guest you might be entertaining. This adds an additional level of security, in an already very safe and quiet neighborhood.

Your bedroom door locks from the inside by turning the lock on the handle. When you leave your room, you will be able to lock it with a key. I will only enter your room in case of an emergency or with 24-hour notice.
Guests are welcome with permission and pre-approval. They may spend one night, if approved. Guests are not permitted when you are not here, or when I am not home. Door locks have been installed for additional privacy. You can turn the lock when inside your room, or lock your room with a key when you leave.

I retain the right to enter your room in emergencies, or with giving you 24-hour notice.
