About this home
Hey friends! I’m Hailey, a 33-year-old who was recently laid off due to company restructuring, so I’m making the best of it. I have a top-floor condo on 17th Street in Atlanta,(Midtown) Georgia and am looking for a short-term roommate. I own the condo, so I'll be living in the room downstairs :). The condo is fully furnished with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, featuring a huge bathroom with double sinks, a garden tub, and a shower. The lofted second bedroom comes partially furnished with a bed, nightstand, lamp, TV, and mini fridge, but I can adjust if needed. I don’t have many photos of the loft, but happy to give a tour. I have two sweet cats (sorry, no additional pets per HOA rules), love a clean space, and enjoy a fun weekend but keep things low-key during the week. Ideally looking for a female roommate (25-39) who is tidy and easygoing. The space is month to month and budget-friendly, great for a travel nurse, flight attendant, or someone between places who wants to avoid high month-to-month apartment fees. The condo is super walkable with no car needed. It’s 0.3 miles to Atlantic Station, 2 miles from Piedmont Park, and has great restaurants and bars across the street. There’s also a dedicated Atlantic Station shuttle. Several major Atlanta hospitals are nearby: Emory is 1.7 miles away, Piedmont 1.5 miles, Grady 2.8 miles, and Northside 0.9 miles. Amenities include an on-site gym with locker rooms, saunas, steam showers, and regular showers. There’s a pool open from mid-March to early September, an on-site masseuse (extra cost but discounted for residents), free yoga a few times a month, and a coworking space with book club and community events. The on-site library lets residents borrow, return, or donate books. Rent is still being finalized but will likely be in the $900 to $1,400 range depending on how we handle utilities. I’m open to either a flat monthly rate where I cover everything (GA Power, WiFi, parking, etc.) or a lower base rent where we split utilities.
